Essential Settings & Early Setup
Before you even think about grinding levels or hunting bosses, you need to configure your client properly. This is the number one reason beginners fall behind. The game's default settings are optimized for casual exploration, not efficient progression.
Enable Auto Quest Immediately
Found in the settings menu, Auto Quest automatically turns in completed objectives without requiring you to run back to the NPC. Enable it before your first grind session.
Enable Auto Quest first — it's the single biggest time-saver in early game.
Claim Group Rewards First
Navigate to the group rewards menu on first spawn. These provide starting gold, gems, and consumables. Use them to purchase Cortana or basic survival items.
Set Your Spawn Point on Every New Island
Touch each island's spawn crystal immediately upon arrival. Make it a habit: land → touch crystal → start farming.
The Hockey Quest: Your First Major Power Spike
Requires 150,000 Gold and 200 Gems but grants a permanent +25% base damage multiplier.
- Defeat 150 NPCs using standard combat style
- Activate your Z ability 65 times
- Land 750 basic punches

Stat Rolling Strategy & Merchant System
Early-game gems are extremely scarce. Spending them incorrectly will lock you out of optimal race and clan combinations for weeks.
The 500-Gem Roll Trick
Use the Roll All Stats option at Sailor Island for exactly 500 gems instead of rolling individual stats for 1,000 each.
Never Skip the Merchant
The traveling merchant sells race, clan, and trade rerolls. Check back every 30–45 minutes.
Prioritize races with luck or damage passives and clans that complement your playstyle.
Enable Auto Haki Early
Toggle Auto Haki once you unlock Armament and Observation Haki on Desert Island.

Ascension Farming Routes & Server Hopping
Ascension materials are the primary bottleneck for mid-game progression.
Optimal Farming Loop
- Sailor Island — primary spawn, clear mobs for basic mats
- Shibuya Station — high-density NPC zones with mid-tier boss spawns
- Hollow Island — rare material drop zone, higher boss yield
The Server Hop Method
Joining a friend's server means zero competition for boss spawns. Use the friend method whenever possible.
Titles & Weapon Upgrades
Prioritize Damage → Crit Chance → Damage Reduction. Avoid upgrading non-essential gear until level 50.

Mid-Game AFK Farming & Skill Tree Priority
Once you reach mid-game, switch to passive progression using the Quake Fruit AFK method.
Shinjuku Island AFK Setup
Requirement: 160% total damage to one-shot 10 mobs simultaneously. Position near mob clusters and enable auto-attack.
Skill Tree Distribution (Level 7500+)
- Damage
- Luck
- Crit Chance
- Crit Damage
- HP
Don't invest in HP or defense early. Diminishing returns compared to offensive scaling.
Boss Pity System
Use Night Boss until 23/25 pity, then spawn target boss to guarantee a drop.

Artifact Management & Milestone Scaling
Artifacts dictate your late-game viability.
Beginner Artifact Strategy
Focus on damage artifacts. Upgrade to +5 but don't max non-legendary pieces.
The milestone system is passive and cumulative — even bad drops contribute.

Haki & Rune Leveling Optimization
Observation Haki Fast-Track
Reset stats to zero, drag a high-HP NPC to a corner, enable Auto Haki and let it train continuously.
Rune Farming Strategy
Switch to Extreme Mode and use the King of Heroes spec for bonus rune multipliers.

Drop Chance Stacking & Luck Mechanics
You can drop 2–3 materials from a single mob through multiplicative luck stacking.
Optimal Race, Clan & Spec Combinations
- Race: Luckburn or Kitsune — highest base luck multipliers
- Clan: Eminence or Monarch — drop chance & gold scaling
- Spec Passive: Fortune Chosen — flat drop rate increase
Always equip your luck build before entering a boss fight.

💡 Honorable Mention: Build Saver System
Use the Build Saver system to store loadouts. Name them clearly (e.g., "AFK-Shinjuku", "Boss-Push", "Luck-Farm") and swap instantly to avoid misallocation during critical farming windows.
